Guns N' Roses plans New York club tour
Guns N' Roses will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April and ahead of the ceremony, the band announced Monday (Jan. 30) that it will play three shows at small New York clubs in February to celebrate the induction, reports the New York Times. But -- here's the key information -- the club dates will be performed by the current iteration of Guns N' Roses led by frontman Axl Rose, who owns the band name. He will not be joined by his ex-bandmates from classic GN'R glory days -- guitarist Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler.
We're still pulling for a reunion, but still isn't clear who will be on hand at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when the band is inducted in April. Hey guys, if Black Sabbath can do it, dangit, you can, too.
Still, if you've been itching to see Axl up close and personal, here's your chance.
