Golden Globes 2012: Ricky Gervais 'save[s] a few' jokes for the broadcast

Comedian Ricky Gervais is back hosting the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards on NBC Sunday night (Jan. 15). In his red carpet interview with Ryan Seacrest, Ricky dishes about his coming back and that dress rehearsal for the show went off without a hitch.

When asked if people blow things out of proportion, Ricky says, "I thought they blew out of proportion last year. You usually have to actually murder someone to get that many column inches. It's going to be more of the same. Different jokes, obviously. I'm not gunning to ruin anyone's night."

He continues, "I never mean to offend, but I just happen to. It's something about me."

Seacrest mentions that he heard dress rehearsal went very well, and then asks Ricky if he does all his jokes in rehearsal or if he saves some for the broadcast. Ricky hesitates, then slyly answers, "I save a few. [giggle]"

We cannot wait.
