Golden Globes 2012: Piper Perabo makes a spectacle of herself

Piper Perabo got the party started early on Sunday night (Jan. 15) at the 69th Annual Golden Globes, judging by her red carpet posing. (We were reminded of the scene in "Sixteen Candles" when Molly Ringwald's big sis took a few too many muscle relaxants before her wedding.)

Perabo wore a sheer ball gown, which sounds far more scandalous than it actually looks. The dress has a cutout on her lower back, and she paired it with sparkly silver shoes.

Though not nominated this year, Piper Perabo did score a nomination for her "Covert Affairs" role in 2011.
