Demi Moore's 911 call: 'She smoked something --- she's convulsing'

The tape of the 911 call that led to Demi Moore's hospitalization on Monday (Jan. 23) was released on Friday by L.A. authorities.

Some details were omitted to protect Moore's privacy, but what was released doesn't seem to back up the hotly-circulated rumor that Moore was inhaling nitrous oxide (Whip-Its) before paramedics were called to her house.

"She smoked something," says a female caller in the recording. "It's not marijuana, but it's similar to incense and she seems to be having convulsions of some sort." She added that Demi was, "semi-conscious, barely. She's convulsing." The caller also said, "She's been having some issues lately with some other stuff, but I don't know what she's been taking or not."

In the five-minute recording, Moore's friends argue with the dispatcher about which jurisdiction covers her neighborhood, reports E!.

"Why is there not an ambulance coming now?" the woman says before adding that Moore took something that made her "act crazy."
