Demi Moore hospitalized: Where was Ashton?

Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital with "exhaustion" which is now being reported by TMZ as a seizure-like crisis caused by inhalation of nitrous oxide or "whip-its." Her visibly distraught daughter Rumer Willis reportedly rushed to her side. So, where was her soon-to-be-ex-husband Ashton Kutcher? He's not even on the continent.

E! News is reporting that Kutcher is currently in South America doing a shoot for Colcci's new clothing catalog with pregnant supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio. In fact, Kutcher tweeted a picture of himself happily surfing the streets of Sao Paolo, Brazil in the rain the day before Moore was admitted to the hospital.

Since then he has tweeted only once, with no mention of his estranged wife. In fact, the site reports that Kutcher was "out partying with friends" last night and is in no hurry to return. Moore's rep has stated that the actress "looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
