Critics Choice Awards 2012: Elizabeth Olsen vs. Elle Fanning -- who wore yellow better?
As order will often emerge from chaos, themes quickly present themselves on awards show red carpets. Thursday's (Jan. 12) Critics Choice Awards pre-show was no exception. While the dresses were decidedly a step up from the previous evening's People's Choice Awards, we're still not a major awards show cruising altitude yet. Which is why Elizabeth Olsen, a nominee for her performance in "Martha Marcy May Marlene," was able to get away with a cheery Emilio Pucci printed cocktail length dress.
It may also explain why "Super 8's" Elle Fanning went way outside the red carpet comfort zone when she showed up wearing a voluminous mint green gown adorned with a flurry of yellow daisies. We're hoping it's vintage and guessing that if so it may in fact have been worn by Farrah Fawcett in the late '70s.
But, taste is subjective -- so tell us, who did you like better in yellow?
