Terrence Howard slapped with restraining order from his wife

"Hustle and Flow" star Terrence Howard was slapped with a temporary restraining order from his estranged wife Michelle.

She claims that he's been beating her since their marriage began back in 2010 and threatened to kill her, according to court records obtained by TMZ.

According to the court documents, Howard allegedly smacked her in the face, chipping her tooth, threw her down on the ground and threatened her repeatedly.

Howard filed legal papers as well, claiming that this is entirely untrue and that Michelle was threatening to release "private materials" to a third party in exchange for money. A source told TMZ that one of these is a video of him singing naked in the shower.
