'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood back in jail: Police found pills in her house

"Teen Mom"
star Amber Portwood spent last Christmas in jail after she was arrested for felony charges of domestic battery and neglect. Now, she's back in the slammer for a probation violation, and she may very well spend the holidays there.

Portwood's probation was dependent on her getting her GED, completing anger management classes, paying probation fees, and setting up a college fund for her daughter -- all of which she did not do. She was also expected to "behave well in society," but -- oops -- she got drunk and got into a public fight in November.

Her brother tells E! that she missed a probation hearing this week, during which the judge was supposed to examine the violations. Instead, cops came to her house, and they found what he says were some "old pills" for which Portwood couldn't provide a prescription.

"It's really sad because this will be her second Christmas in jail," brother Shawn says. "We were really looking forward to seeing her because we didn't see her last year because she was in jail, and now that's not going to happen. I just talked to her last week and she sounded so excited. She told me she was so happy with her new boyfriend, that our mom really likes him and that she couldn't wait to introduce him to us."

As for Amber's three-year-old daughter Leah, she's safe and sound with her father, Gary Shirley -- they're staying with Amber's dad in Florida for a visit.
