Simon Cowell to get 'Sweet Revenge' in biography; Who will he rip?

simon-cowell-finale.jpgThe meanest man on TV is about to let you inside his road to the top. Ballantine Books announced Thursday (Dec. 15) its plans to publish a biography on Simon Cowell.

The book, called "Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell," is described as the "definitive biography" on the judge from "The X Factor." It will no doubt go behind the scenes of his rise to stardom while on "American Idol," his departure from the show and his re-emergence via "The X Factor." The publisher also says the book will include "direct contributions" from Cowell's friends and enemies.

Cowell's had a pretty solid 2011. He was just named one of Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating People. And his production company just signed Howard Stern to judge on "America's Got Talent."

The bio will be penned by Tom Bower. Bower has written 19 books about a variety of politicians and celebrities including Richard Branson and former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

The book is slated for a Spring 2012 release.
