Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry: New couple alert!

The news didn't exactly break on her terms, but on Wednesday's (Nov. 30) "The Talk," co-host Sara Gilbert, 36, admitted that she is -- as has been reported by various paparazzi outlets -- dating songwriter/producer Linda Perry, 46.

"I can't believe anyone cares," said Gilbert. "All these articles are out that I'm in a new relationship ... I go online, and it's on CNN ... It's weird."

"I do want to share [my news] with you," Gilbert continued, "but I want to do it on my terms, in full hair and makeup."

Gilbert and Perry were snapped hand-in-hand leaving a Hollywood grocery store over the Thanksgiving weekend.

"Grocery shopping with @THEsaragilbert," tweeted Perry at the time. "Her contribution: breaking the balsamic vinegar trying to figure out if she had spotted Bill Cosby."

In August, Gilbert split from longtime girlfriend Allison Adler. Perry, who is credited with producing Pink's "Get the Party Started" among other hits, is the former lead singer of 4 Non Blondes.
