Mindy McCready a 'happy girl' after custody hearing

Without revealing the details, country singer Mindy McCready left an Arkansas courthouse Monday (Dec. 5) a "happy girl" after a juvenile court judge ruled on who will receive custody of her five-year-old son Zander.

"I can't talk about it, but I can tell you all I'm a happy girl. I'm a happy girl right now," McCready says while leaving the courthouse. "I love Judge Harrod, I'll tell you that. I love that man. He's a good man."

On late Monday, McCready sent a text message to HLN host Jane Valez Mitchell. The message, which Mitchell read on the air, revealed more information.

"WE WON!!! ZAN STAYS," McCready writes. "Court details sealed but we love Judge Lee W Harrod."

It was just a week ago that McCready was considered a missing person and was being sought by authorities after taking her five-year-old son Zander from the child's home in Cape Coral, FL. At the time, McCready did not have custody of the child, rather her mother did.

McCready and the child were found days later hiding in a closet in a home in Arkansas. It is unclear if charges will be filed against McCready for these actions.

To make matters more interesting, McCready also announced last week that she's pregnant with twins.
