Matt Damon replaces 'hetero-lifemate' Ben Affleck with John Krasinski

Listen, we're not ashamed to admit that sometimes we get over-invested in celebrity couples (still suffering from the tragic Efron/Hudgens split of 2010, here). One of those celebrity couples? Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

So basically, we wailed in anguish when we read that Damon had publicly betrayed his bond with Affleck by admitting that he likes "The Office" star John Krasinski, too.

You see, Damon and Krasinski will soon go into production on a movie they wrote together. Kind of like how he wrote "Good Will Hunting" with Affleck, only not as important to us. "I just found writing with him really easy--like writing with Ben," Damon tells GQ.

Wailed. In. Anguish.

Then we kept reading, and realized that Damon also called Affleck his "hetero-lifemate" and noted that they're working on a film based on the life of Irish mobster "Whitey" Bulger together. So we forgave him.
