Katy Perry's new hair: Popstress debuts new shorter, sleeker look

Katy Perry is nothing if not a chameleon when it comes to her hair. On Saturday (Dec. 3) at an L.A. event, the pop sensation debuted a new, lighter haircut. As recently as the American Music Awards, Perry was rocking a sculpted pink mid-length retro 'do that alternately channeled Judy Jetson and Joan Crawford.

At the Change Begins Within Benefit Celebration in Los Angeles, Perry -- with husband Russell Brand by her side -- showed off a sleek new chin-skimming bob in a softened shade of pink. In the past, Perry has rocked pretty much every color in the spectrum, from long black tresses to an electric blue Bette Page-inspired look to blonde bombshell.

Perry and Brand recently scoffed at rumors that they were headed for divorce.

"First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced," she joked. "What am I All My Children?! #ericakane #pshhh #ifihadadollarforeverytime..," tweeted Perry on Dec. 1.
