Helen Mirren's fashion fail: A star-studded mess?

Helen Mirren has already established herself as a risk-taker when it comes to fashion choices. The 66-year-old has built a reputation as a sexy senior by sporting stunning gowns and even a red bikini. But her latest fashion choice has left even fans flummoxed.

Mirren showed up for last Friday's (Dec. 16) British Comedy Awards wearing a Dolce & Gabbana cocktail-length dress that looked like something more likely to be found in Snooki's "Jersey Shore" closet (aka heap on the floor) than on the back of a bona fide British Dame.

The dress is made up of alternating panels of star-printed black material and black lace. And while it may have looked just dandy on the runway, Mirren over-accessorized with opaque black leggings, long black leather gloves and a star-studded statement necklace.
