Fantasia Barrino gives birth to baby boy

Former "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, on Dec. 13.

According to E! Online, Barrino's new bundle of joy is named Dallas Xavier Barrino, and he was born at 5:14 p.m. ET weighing 7 pounds and 9 ounces.

"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family," Barrino tells E! News. "I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."

Barrino told Wendy Williams in October that she was on bed rest before her son was due Dec. 29, but it appears her Christmas present came a little early. The Grammy winner has a 10-year-old daughter named Zion.

The baby's father is Antwaun Cook, who was married when he began an affair with the singer.
