Demi Lovato tapped to perform at People's Choice Awards

Teen singer Demi Lovato is slated to continue her non-stop comeback lap with a performance at the Jan. 11, 2012 People's Choice Awards.

"Demi is a brilliant performer, a strong role model and a true fan favorite," says executive producer Mark Burnett in a press release. "We're thrilled to have her on board for the People's Choice Awards and look forward to a truly electrifying performance."

She joins previously announced performer Faith Hill and host Kaley Cuoco ("The Big Bang Theory"). She's also nominated for Favorite Pop Artist with -- among others -- Beyonce, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna.
