Who is Jessie James? Hint: She's never dated Kat Von D

Jessie James' fame is growing. But not because the country crooner -- who just happens to have a name one letter removed from notorious Sandra Bullock ex Jesse James -- has cheated on anyone. In fact, as far as we know, her name has never even been associated with celebrity scandal.

Oh, and she's also not to be confused with leggy British singer Jessie J.

So who is Jessie James and why is she trending all over search engines on Thursday (Nov. 17)? It turns out she's a country singer -- she also goes by Jessica James -- who happens to be dating Denver Bronco Eric Decker. And -- bonus! -- The Washington Post reports she'll be performing during the halftime show of Thursday's match-up between the Broncos and the New York Jets.

According to Wikipedia, James is currently at work on her second album. Her first eponymous release, featuring the Gold record single "Wanted," dropped in 2009.

"Who's the halftime entertainer? Some lady, a beautiful girl?" asked boyfriend Decker during a Wednesday pre-game press conference. "I'm excited. I wish I could sneak out, but don't tell Coach Fox. I've got somebody recording it for me."
