Spear of Destiny: This has nothing to do with Britney Spears, y'all

Okay, so apparently the History Channel sparked interest in the legendary Spear of Destiny when the cable network aired a show Wednesday (Nov. 16) evening about the apocryphal weapon that is rumored to have pierced the side of Jesus after he had been crucified.

Hitler, in particular, was apparently super-interested in acquiring the artifact because it was rumored that he who wielded the spear would be undefeated in battle. A purported "Holy Lance" on display in a Vienna, Austria museum is believed to be a fake, according to the Mother Nature Network. Meanwhile, some rumors placed the spear in the possession of Gen. George Patton while others claim Hitler found it and hid it in Antarctica.

Whatever the case, the spear and it's mega-awesome name inspired these three brainstorms:

1. "Spears of Destiny": Britney Spears' new album. Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and the other one join her for a duet.

2. "Indiana Jones and the Spear of Destiny": Shia LaBeouf isn't getting any younger.

3. "Twilight Saga: The Spear of Destiny" [NOT RATED]: A new character named "Spear" shakes things up by not only taking off his shirt...
