Model Maggie Rizer welcomes baby boy to the world

Maggie Rizer is now a mom.

The model and AIDS activist gave birth to a baby boy, Zander, on Wednesday (Nov. 23) in San Francisco. It's the first child for her and husband Alex Mehran.

"He has 10 fingers, 10 toes, sandy hair, deep blue eyes and is practically perfect, in every possible way!" Rizer writes on her blog.

"Alex and I are very proud parents and incredibly excited to get to know our new little lad. We feel tremendously blessed this Thanksgiving!"

Rizer and Mehran have been married for a little over a year. Their son is named after him -- his full name is Alexander Rafahi Mehran III.
