Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan was rushed to a Florida hospital where he'll be undergoing heart surgery, according to Reuters.Lohan was taken to Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Myers on Thanksgiving night after complaining of shortness of breath and chest pains. He registered a high blood pressure reading of 200/110. The surgery will consist of a stent inserted and a blood clot removed from his lungs. He is expected to recover within a week, according to his spokesperson.
Reuters is also reporting that his spokesperson said that Lohan had not received his blood pressure or heart
medicine in a week at the treatment center where he is currently staying
under a court order.
You may recall that the always well-behaved Lohan was arrested in October on domestic battery charges. He was sentenced to two years probation and was ordered to spend four months in a treatment center. Maybe the Lohan clan could get a family discount.
