Jeremy London wanted by police

Actor Jeremy London is wanted for questioning after Palm Springs Police received a call from his girlfriend saying he assaulted her.

According to PSPD Sgt. Kyle Stjerne, the former "Party of Five" star injured the unnamed woman on Friday (Nov. 18) when an argument about the custody of their child turned violent. The woman sustained minor injuries.

In a statement to People, London's representative Dominic Friesen says, "This is a false allegation and we understand that the police have to follow protocol in issuing and arrest warrant - standard when any woman files a complaint of domestic abuse...However, no such abuse occurred and these allegations will soon be proven false."

The 39-year-old London has had a checkered past including drug addiction as featured on the fourth season of "Celebrity Rehab."

Friesen adds, "We anticipate Jeremy to be cleared of any wrongdoing as he continues to enjoy fatherhood and embrace sobriety."
