Jennifer Lopez's Fiat problems continue; Carmaker used a body double, car broke down during filming

Just days ago, word leaked that some scenes in Jennifer Lopez's "This is my world" Fiat commercials weren't shot in The Bronx but in Los Angeles. Now life is getting more complicated as The Smoking Gun is reporting Lopez used a body double during the scenes that were filmed in the New York borough. In light of this news, Fiat has finally decided to explain themselves while coming to the defense of Lopez.
Fiat spokeswomen Dianna Gutierrez says in a statement, "The commercial tells the story of how the simple elements of our upbringing can help explain who we are, where we're going and serve as a source of inspiration to achieve our goals in life. One does not need to be in a specific location to be inspired or continue to be inspired."
This is the latest in a tough week for Fiat. The automaker came under fire for JLo's blatant shilling of the Fiat 500 at Sunday's (Nov. 20) "American Music Awards." Then Fiat Brand chief Laura Soave was fired the following day. And to round out a rotten few days, The Smoking Gun is reporting that the Fiat 500 actually broke down during the filming of the commercial.
Perhaps they might want to buy a Honda instead.
