Hugh Grant allegedly buys house in London for baby mama, new daughter

Earlier this week, Hugh Grant told the press that he had welcomed a baby daughter. The mother is still unknown, as Grant's rep said that the two had a "fleeting affair," but that Grant was supportive and thrilled about the baby.

Speculation has run rampant in the British press that the baby mama is in fact Tinglan Hong, a woman he was seen around London with and who recently appeared pregnant in photos. Now the U.K.'s Daily Mail is reporting that Grant bought Hong and his new baby daughter a £1.175 million home in Fulham, less than a mile from his home. That is roughly 1.9 million dollars.

Grant allegedly arrived at the home Nov. 2 and said to the paper, "I have a 24-hour break from filming in Germany. I have come back to protect my baby."

Supposedly the house was purchased for Hong via Grant's cousin Flora Hood. The Daily Mail also claims the baby girl was born Sept. 26 and has yet to be officially registered in London, which Grant is legally required to do by next Monday, Nov. 7, or six weeks from the day she was reportedly born.

If that is the case, we're sure the mother's identity and the baby's name will be revealed at that time, either officially from Grant or by some newspaper in the U.K.
