'G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation' crew member Mike Huber dies in set accident

Sad news from the New Orleans set of "G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation" -- crew member Mike Huber was killed Nov. 22 in a tragic accident.

TMZ reports that Huber was operating a high-powered Condor lift as he worked on tearing down the set when the machine tipped over. Huber's injuries were fatal.

Paramount Pictures expressed their condolences in an official statement, saying, "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the [crew member's] family at this time. The safety of our cast and crew is our top priority and the studio is fully cooperating with all investigating agencies as they examine the circumstances surrounding this unusual accident."

"G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation" is scheduled for release on June 29, 2012.
