Emily Maynard's former in-law Rick Hendrick's plane crash leaves only minor injuries

Remember how Emily Maynard on "The Bachelor" had that awful story about her fiance Ricky Hendrick being killed in a plane crash on the way to a NASCAR event and then she found out she was pregnant a week later? That same family has suffered another plane crash, though thankfully this time no one was seriously hurt, reports the AP.

Rick Hendrick, Ricky's father, was a passenger along with his wife Linda in a small Gulfstream jet being piloted by James Klepper and Jay Luckwaldt. Upon approach, the plane lost its brakes and crashed at the Key West International Airport. Hendrick sustained only a broken rib and clavicle. Linda only suffered minor cuts and abrasions. The pilots escaped without serious injury.

They were taken to Lower Keys Medical Center to be checked out, but all four were treated and released Tuesday morning (Nov. 1).

The previous plane crash incident the family endured had a much more tragic ending. In 2004, a Hendrick's team plane crashed in Virginia, killing all 10 aboard, including Rick Hendrick's son, brother and two nieces.
