Danica McKellar on Syfy: 'Wonder Years' star teams up with Apolo Ohno for 'Tasmanian Devil'

Olympic speed skating champion Apolo Ohno is venturing further into the entertainment world as he begins production on Syfy Saturday Original movie "Tasmanian Devil." Ohno will star alongside "The Wonder Years'" Winnie (Danica McKellar) in the film, which will premiere on Syfy next year.

As is par for the course with Syfy Originals, the duo will be up against the "deadly mythical beast" in the film, which shoots in British Columbia. They play base jumpers who find themselves hunted by the bear-sized Tasmanian Devil in a national park. Allegedly, the Devil is there to protect the land from intruders.

McKellar is a TV veteran, and Ohno is no stranger to television, either. After winning gold medals at the 2002 and 2006 Olympic games, he and Julianne Hough won season four of "Dancing With the Stars."
