Connie Britton adopts baby boy from Ethiopia

"American Horror Story" actress Connie Britton is taking on a new leading man in her life - a nine-month-old baby from Ethiopia, the actress tells People.

It was a three-year-long adoption process, but finally the 44-year-old actress's motherhood dream became a reality when she brought Eyob home to Los Angeles. She says she calls him Yoby.

"I am thanking my lucky stars every day," says Britton. "It was such a wonderful moment of completion. I thought I was going to collapse into a puddle of tears. I was just grinning from ear to ear."

Britton is not currently seeing anyone; she divorced from her husband of four years John Britton in 1995. We would imagine single motherhood would be a challenge, but if anybody is up to it, we know she is.
