Chelsea Handler, Andre Balazs break up after a year together

"Chelsea Lately" host, author, actress, producer, comedienne (etc) Chelsea Handler has ended her relationship with her boyfriend of nearly a year, Andre Balazs. Her rep confirmed the split to Us Weekly.

Balazs, a hotel owner, was spared Handler's typical candor about her boyfriends. "I've learned to respect somebody else's privacy," she told Piers Morgan during their relationship. "It's not about me, because obviously I would like to make fun of him as much as possible, but he has kids, so I have to be nice."

On the day the split was announced (Nov. 8), Handler tweeted a photo of herself with her sisters at a Glamour event. "Always be good to the women in your life. Sissies forever," she wrote.
