Angelina Jolie's 'darker times': 'I shouldn't be here,' for many reasons, says the actress

Angelina Jolie recently gave an interview to "60 Minutes" where she addresses her "darker times" in the past, where she seems to have even feared she might die young.

"I went through heavier, darker times and I survived them. I didn't die young. So I am very lucky. There are other artists and people that didn't survive certain things ... people can imagine that I did the most dangerous, and I did the worst...for many reasons, I shouldn't be here," says Jolie.

"You just...too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too, too far," she continues. "I'm still a bad girl. I still have that side of me...it's just in its place now...it belongs to Brad. Or...our adventures."

Interview Bob Simon and the "60 Minutes" crew spoke with Jolie in Budapest, Hungary, where she was filming some scenes for her upcoming writing and (fictional) directorial debut, "In the Land of Blood and Honey," which is set during the Bosnian war in the early 1990s.
