World Series: Zooey Deschanel's National Anthem - how did the 'New Girl' do?

Zooey Deschanel, star of FOX's new hit comedy "New Girl," took to the field for Game 4 of the 2011 World Series to sing the National Anthem. How do you think she did?

We didn't know she was quite such at throaty alto, but it really sounded nice. She didn't do all the fancy vocal acrobatics that the professional singers usually throw in there, but that was kind of refreshing, honestly. She just did a solid job and stayed in tune, which is no easy feat on the "Star-Spangled Banner."

"New Girl" returns to the airwaves on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT with "Naked," wherein Nick starts dating a co-worker (guest-star Lake Bell) and Jess accidentally sees him naked. Ruh roh.
