World Series: Scotty McCreery's National Anthem kicks things off

After a slight technical difficulty, "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery kicked off the 2011 World Series with a beautiful rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner. It's a hard song to sing even for the best singers, so we were a bit nervous for him - big song, big stage - but he ended up doing a wonderful job.

McCreery currently has the no. 1 album on iTunes. His "Clear as Day" debut album was released back on Oct. 4 and so far has garnered positive critiques, within the country vein. If that's your thing, it's a solid album.
