'The Avengers' production pics released

What's better than a movie with one superhero? Why it's a movie with six superheroes, of course.

Marvel has just released production stills from their upcoming movie "The Avengers." The film features some of their more popular characters including Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America as well as Hawkeye and Black Widow kicking butt and taking names.

The movie is, as expected, about keeping the world safe from bad people. It features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo.

The film is set for a Summer 2012 release.
