'SNL's' Schweddy Balls ice cream too ballsy for your grocery store

schweddy-balls-alec-baldwin.jpgThe "Saturday Night Live" skit-inspired Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor, Schweddy Balls, may just be too much for your local grocery store to handle. (On that note, we apologize in advance for any unintentional innuendo in this article. It's too hard to avoid. That's what she said.)

The Mississippi-based conservative group One Million Moms is putting pressure on stores to keep the flavor, which is based on Alec Baldwin's character Pete Schweddy, off their shelves.

A Stop & Shop spokesperson refused to disclose why the flavor isn't being carried, but she did say, "We haven't received any complaints that we're not carrying that flavor. However, if we do get feedback from customers that they want it, we'll certainly revisit the decision."

So what are you being denied, Stop & Shop customers? Ben & Jerry's describes it as "Fair Trade vanilla ice cream with a hint of rum, loaded with fudge covered rum and milk chocolate malt balls."

You're gonna love their Schweddy Balls.
