Muhammad Ali sues over 'leaky' Louisville mansion

muhammad-ali-louisville-home.jpgMuhammad Ali isn't the kind of guy one wants to annoy, but one Louisville couple is feeling the former boxer's sting after selling the champ a $1.8 million mansion that Ali and his wife claim is nothing but a money pit.

In a lawsuit filed against the home's previous owners, the Alis say they were not made aware of pre-existing defects -- including roof and chimney leaks, mold and poor insulation.

An attorney for the sellers, Patrick and Beverly Lancaster, tells WDRB the couple was totally surprised by the lawsuit.

"There are no serious defects with the home," reads a statement. "The house is a 10-year-old home. A normal Greater Louisville Association of Realtors contract was used for the sale, and the purchasers had every opportunity to have the home inspected at the time."
