Michael Lohan arrested, charged with domestic battery

More trouble in the Lohan family as Lindsay's dad Michael was arrested Tuesday (Oct. 25) after allegedly threatening to throw his girlfriend off a balcony at a West Tampa, FL condo complex.

According to police, the former "Celebrity Rehab" cast member got into an argument with 28-year-old Kathryn Major about a court hearing regarding a restraining order against him.

Reports state that Major received minor bruising and indicated shoulder pains but did not receive any medical help. After being arrested, Lohan complained of chest pains and was taken to the hospital for observation.

The couple has had an on-again/off-again relationship for the past two years.

In an interesting twist, this isn't Major's first reality beau. She once dated Jon Gosselin of "Jon & Kate Plus Eight."
