Kim Kardashian releases official statement about Kris Humphries divorce

Kim Kardashian has officially spoken out about filing for divorce from Kris Humphries, her husband of 72 days."After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best," the reality star says in a statement to Ryan Seacrest, the man who's responsible for E!'s Kardashian empire. (Seacrest's production company created "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and its many spinoffs.)
