'Footloose': Kevin Bacon likes the remake

Kevin Bacon has a pretty good sense of humor. His most recent commercial lampooning himself was the perfect example. (It was also brilliant, see below.) And instead of rolling his eyes (like many people did) about the remake of his classic film "Footloose," he tweeted his support.

"F-Loose! Just saw it. Congrats to Craig, Kenny, Julianne, Dennis,Andie, Miles, and the rest of the cast. U guys rock," he wrote.

Bacon's original hit theaters in 1984 and was an instant hit -- along with its Kenny Loggins-fueled soundtrack. The remake, starring "Dancing with the Stars alumna Julianne Hough, has done respectable box office business, so far taking in more than $36 million in ticket sales worldwide.
