Katy Perry turns 27, Twitter explodes

Everyone's favorite Teenage Dream is growing up before our very eyes. Katy Perry turns 27 on Tuesday (Oct. 25).

Mrs. Russell Brand tweeted out to her 87 billion followers (ok, it's actually 11 million) her appreciation for the well wishes in addition to surprise that she's even a Trending Topic on the social media.

"ooo... it's trending. i feel shpeshul," she says with blatant disregard for any rules of grammar.

It's been a big week for Perry. She and her hubby just celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Oct. 23.
