Jessica Simpson holds live baby, fuels pregnancy rumor

We have to wonder if Jessica Simpson knew what she was doing when she agreed to be photographed holding someone else's pink-clad baby on Saturday (Oct. 1) at the unveiling of her new ready-to-wear clothing collection at  San Francisco Macy's store.

Simpson was apparently minding her own business, wearing a baggy black shirt and holding hands with fiance Eric Johnson until she agreed to hold the baby which -- of course -- immediately had reports circling the web that the singer-turned-designer is indeed expecting her own bundle of joy.

In September, Simpson postponed her wedding to Johnson because -- according to Us -- she couldn't settle on what kind of wedding she wanted.

"Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home."

Also, last week and unconfirmed report surfaced in Life & Style mag that Simpson is in fact carry Johnson's baby.
