Harry Connick Jr. visits Ellen DeGeneres, Piers Morgan
Actor/musician Harry Connick Jr. made the talk show rounds on Monday (Oct. 24) and, depending on which show you caught, you may have been alternately moved to tears or laughter by the guy.
We've got two clips to share -- the first one from his visit to CNN's Piers Morgan, where Connick talked about the pain of losing his mother when he was only 13.
"It was the worst thing, probably to this day, that's ever happened to me," said Connick. "And there were years when I didn't want to talk about it in my 20s. I'd get angry with journalists if they ever brought it up. It took me years to realize it was okay to talk about it."
He also stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" with is daughter, Kate, who is -- coincidentally -- 13. The pair sang their new duet, "A Lot Like Me" and talked about Connick's tendency to "creep" into pictures. Take a look:
