Donatella Versace teams up with H&M on budget-conscious line
Missoni for Target is so four weeks ago. The latest high-fashion/downscale collaboration that has fashionistas talking is Donatella Versace's fall 2011 line of affordable (or more affordable than Versace) items for retailer H&M."I can't wait to see how H&M's wide audience will make these pieces their own," Donatella tells AllMediaNY.
The new collection features 40 pieces -- including everything from dresses to belts and REAL leather -- for women and 20 pieces for men. For now, though, we can only look -- the collection won't hit U.S. stores until Nov. 19. Prices will range from $30 to $400.
"[The line] will look back on the heritage of the [Versace] brand, full of leather, print, colour and exuberance in exclusive materials," said an H&M spokesperson.
