Chris Tucker facing foreclosure on Florida mansion
Chris Tucker made more than $40 million co-starring with Jackie Chan in the "Rush Hour" series of movies. But the actor/comedian is now facing foreclosure on a central Florida mansion he purchased in 2007.According to the Orlando Sentinel, Tucker owes $4.4 million to SunTrust Bank on the 10,000-square-foot waterfront home that boasts five bedrooms, three fireplaces, an outdoor kitchen and -- most importantly -- a basement designed like a pirate ship "with a wooden deck, mast and sail."
The Internal Revenue Service imposed a $11.5 million lien on the home in 2010, reports the Sentinel, in an effort to collect unpaid taxes.
According to a property assessor, the mansion is valued at just $1.6 million. Tucker's monthly mortgage payment is $25,812.50.
