Teen bride Courtney Stodden, Doug Hutchison closer to reality TV deal

Need proof of the decline of Western civilization? Look no further than 17-year-old bride Courtney Stodden and her new husband, 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison ("The Green Mile," "Lost"). The lovestruck couple is apparently nearing a deal on their very own reality show.

The project has yet to find a network, but Stodden's mom, Krista Keller, tells E! the show concept is locked in.

"It's going to show people what they can teach each other from different generations," says Keller. "They're going to touch on family issues. There was a lot of judgment about their marriage from Doug's side of the family, so it will touch on bringing families back together and why it's important to support family members even if you don't agree."

The couple is working with Merv Griffin Entertainment to get things rolling, but production has not yet begun. Maybe Courtney needs to get a note from her principal or something.
