Charlie Sheen
is not sober, according to
Steve-O
. Or at least he wasn't as of Sept. 10, when the
"Jackass"
stuntman participated in Comedy Central's roast of the erstwhile
"Two and a Half Men"
star.
We caught up with Steve-O Wednesday (Sept. 21) when he was visiting the
KTLA Morning Show
to ask him about the roast (which aired Monday), his nose (
he broke it on Mike Tyson's fist at the roast
), his own sobriety and his impression of Charlie Sheen.
According to Steve-O, who roasted Sheen and attended a post-roast party at Sheen's Los Angeles home, the actor is not -- despite outward appearances -- sober.
"The night the roast aired he had a party at his house and I tweeted a picture with him and my tweet said, 'I believe I'm at the most expensive crack house on the planet.'" Steve-O tells Zap2it. "And I probably was, for god's sakes."
Then we asked whether, in his opinion, Sheen was clean and sober.
"I shouldn't say I know anything, but I don't think so, no," replied Steve-O, who himself battled addiction. "But it is what it is. I try to stay off my soapbox.
During Sunday's Emmy broadcast, Sheen issued a live mea culpa and apology to his "Two and a Half" men colleagues. In a recent Jay Leno interview, Sheen admitted he was not in his right mind when he was fired from "Two and a Half Men" and went on a tear that included shacking up with two adult stars and the addition of "winning" to our cultural lexicon.
