Sarah Polley married and pregnant and writing a kids' book

Canadian actress/writer/director Sarah Polley has some big news: she's married and 3-1/2 months pregnant with her first child.

The 32-year-old confirmed to Toronto.com that she and new husband David Sandomierski are expecting their fisrt child this winter.

"I'm really excited, super excited," said Polley of her pregnancy.

And speaking of Sandomierski, Polley married the University of Toronto Ph.D. candidate two weeks ago in a small ceremony attended by friends and family.

"It was pretty much the best wedding of all time," a glowing Polley said. "Lots of great food."

And the pair is already busy working on another collaboration: A children's book titled "Didi and the Bean."
