Michelle Williams channels Marilyn Monroe in Vogue
With just weeks until the release of her hotly anticipated film "My Week with Marilyn," Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams took to the covers of Vogue dressed as the character she plays, Marilyn Monroe. The photos, which run in the October issue of the fashion publication, were taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. The images run alongside an interview in which Williams discusses what went into portraying the film icon.
The movie focuses on the relationship between Monroe and Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne), the assistant charged with helping her through the shoot of 1956's "The Prince and the Showgirl."
The film also stars Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Julia Ormond and Emma Watson.
"My Week with Marilyn" makes its debut in Oct. 9 at the New York Film Festival.
