Mel Gibson on Oksana Grigorieva's music: 'Horrible'

File this story under "N" for "not surprising in the least bit."
Sure, Mel Gibson has said a lot of mean things about his ex Oksana Grigorieva. Sure, a lot of them were on tape. But now, an equally vile recording has been released online -- a 30-second clip of Oksana's music.
Sources tell TMZ that Mel is "embarrassed" to have supported Oksana's attempts at a music career. And support them he did -- it's not very often you get an Oscar-winning director like Mel to helm your music video for "Beautiful Heartache."
But there's nothing beautiful about this clip of Oksana's warbling, which Mel privately told TMZ's sources he believes to be "horrible." At least she got that multi-million dollar settlement, right? Oh wait. Ouch...
You can listen to a clip from the song here, but be warned. It's not funny bad -- it's just regular bad.

Next season of DWTS??
The woman simply has no talent or abilities but plenty of cash now thanks to Mel.
Have to disagree with those who think that this is bad. Better than the cRap, hip-hop & dance BS that pollutes the pop charts today. She has piano playing ability, and this video & song has top notch production values. Put her with David Foster or Dann Huff and see the magic happen. I'm biased 'cos me thinks Oksana is the hottest thing around, though surely not the smartest. But she can live in the house in the SF Valley.
Mel called it right.
It's not that bad, but it's not that good either. The only thing this woman is good at is having babies by famous people.
Jhon, oksana was banging David Foster for 2 years, befroe she hooked up on Mle Gibson, after founding out that David Foster had a vasectomy, so she couldnt pull the oh! i just got preggy " trick on him!
Guess what? he refused to make a CD for her in all that time. she is even pictred on the red carpet with david foster in 2004 thus she never made a CD!!
so she boinged david foster form 2004 to 2008... thats 4 years and she didnt get a thing out of it, except prolonged visa to stay in the USA.
as for piano, it isnt her whop play piano in most of the songs it was a man, a real pianist.
She cant even play piano, even that song was made and remade in studios and filtered for disharmonies, she made several mistakes on basic piano thus those music lines are very simple.
She has absolutly no talent at all and is unbale to give a concert with only 3 songs.
she tried in moscow, it was horrendous!!
Think that there is several filters in that video, for voice and nonetheway she sing faulse! so imagine how the original must have been!!
Horreful!
she had demo on a website before, in 2009, and those were filtered only once to reajust the vocal, it was soo horreful! here oyu could clealry hear that not only she sing completely faulse she also play piano out of key!! which is in itself incredible!!
No doubt that oksana got it on tmz just to get publicity ad mike walter form TMZ is a fan of her and of her music... he said it himself 3 days ago at TMZ live.
She cant sing she can only tick money out of bj she do to rich men to get her lips inflated like a fish, and act as if she know what she si doing.
she alos alledged she had done ballet.. scuse me but its not true, she livd with a retired balet danser in england but that doesnt m,ade her a ballet dancer.
she even put in her CV that she had gone to st petersbourg ballet schoo. only in that same CV she also write that hse had gone to a music conservatorium in moscow!! sorry bt pboth places are full time studies and no you cant commute form one city to the other like that everyday.. and train piano nad ballet.
shwe was never registered in any moscow music conservatorium nor in any ballet school in russia
she went ot a music school where her mothjer was teaching (!!) and was over with it when she was 17.. menaing hse practicaly never learn hjow to play piano.
she entere that school when she was 16 bttw.. so thats one year.. lol
she has been paying the same music opieces since 2002. the songs in her CD are form 2002 a demo she had back then added a folkloirc song fom russia who isnt her own as well as 3 songs who were writen by mel gibson..
She stole the music form a known female russian pianist form te 18th century, without even mentioning it in her CD, whihc was greatly criticised in russia.
She is a nobody and a wannbe pianist who sing bad and play bad. She wil enve be a pianist nro a musician in anyway.
Knowing tht her mohter teached piano made it only worse and that she was with timothy dalton since 1996-97 made it even worse, and with david foster form 2004 to 2008, make it totaly incredible that she never was able to becoem better and to release a CD, nor even to give a single concert in london or LA, totaly unheard.
She had tons of oportunities and chance but she was too unable ot do anything with music to can even use it.
Add to it the fact that she is unable to speak english corectly thius she lived in england since she is 20 eyars ld and in USA since 2002...
if you saw her txt messages and email youve got the picute.. and recently seh talk publicly and it was as desastrous. She cant speak enlgish after 25 yearts and in worse with people form london high society.. it means she is a zero.
that wil be forgivable if she didnt added to htat such mean "qualities" as greediness, lying constantly, bad mouthing those who have helped her and accusing them of domestic violence as she did to Mel Gibson, but also to timothy dalton that she filed for DV in novemebr 2008, and to David Foster..
I should begin by saying that one of the few note-worthy qualities of this release are the compelling visual effects and imagery Mr. Gibson created and produced; unfortunately, Ms. Grigorieva's video presence comes across as overly wooden and self-conscious.
It appears Grigorieva likes to combine the story-poem with classical, pop and strong European music influences. Presumably, her ambition here was to create a somewhat dark, soulful yet ambiguous motif that is movingly sultry and unique. She succeeded with the darkness; however, her music can be ineptly dissonant, unsympathetic, and at times obnoxious.
The immediate problem is her ever-present singing, which is mediocre at best, and her overconfident `fortissimo' that causes the listener to either wince or cry out in protest. There are mistakes in her piano performances as well; inexcusable for music that is not played live and does not have a high degree of difficulty. Her repetitive use of certain minor chord combinations are monotonous and uninspired.
Some of the phrasing, accompanying instrumentation and progressions are clumsy, awkwardly competitive, and predictably annoying.
When recording sessions become this painfully egocentric and amateurish, it is time to send the musicians home and call it a day.
When you combine all of these elements and more, this CD is an unqualified miss.
I now understand why music critics feel this CD may find a small fan base of the musically challenged.
good music should be compelling and invite the listener in - not push them.
When she was giving you ******** her music was fabulous, though, right, Mel?
