Laura Benanti covers Playboy magazine, promotes 'Playboy Club'

Likely distancing itself even further from detractors and boycotters, NBC's upcoming "Playboy Club" is now the subject of an issue of Playboy magazine.

Actress Laura Benanti, who plays matriarch bunny Carole Lynn, appears in full rabbit regalia on the cover of the October 2011 issue. And in a nod to the '60s theme -- and, perhaps, the current economic kerfuffle -- it can be yours for the throwback price of only 60 cents.

But that cost does not cover the expected cover girl nudity. Benanti, a Tony-winning actress of stage and screen, remains doesn't reveal anything inside, instead opting for a fully-clothed, nostalgic pictorial.

After all, they've got to save something for Season 2.
