Kate Winslet can projectile vomit with the best of them

Attending the Venice Film Festival in support of her new movie "Carnage," Kate Winslet regaled the press Thursday (Sept. 1) with a story of bringing her kids -- Mia, 10 and Joe, 7 -- to set the day she had to film a scene that required her to projectile vomit during a dinner party.

"My kids came to work for the vomit day, and I am so thrilled that they were there because they literally have not stopped talking about it since. It was hysterical," the actress insists.

Of course, unlike tears Winslet was not required to produce her own vomit. Movie magic and technical apparatus helped produce the effect.

Directed by Roman Polanski and based on the play "The God of Carnage," the dark satire also stars Christoph Waltz, Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly.

"If Roman Polanski invites you to join in any project, you really don't say 'no,'" says Winslet.
