John Travolta's vintage Mercedes-Benz stolen

Either we have a new master car thief on our hands or John Travolta needs to be more careful about locking his doors.

According to reports, the actor's 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL was stolen on Sunday (Sept. 18) afternoon in Santa Monica while the actor was visiting an area Jaguar dealership. It only took 10-minutes for the thief to break into and make off with the luxury car.

Our theory? Travolta and Nic Cage are doing a live-action mashup of "Face/Off" and "Gone in 60 Seconds." It will be going straight to DVD.
